Health care and other oppressive measures….

Everyone is going on about the health care reform that is happening in Washington DC. There, a bunch of men and women get together in a room and decide how best to rule us. This latest reform is just more of the same.

Forget the Tea Parties. Like Alexander Hague said,  “it does not matter who protests, as long as they pay their taxes.” So I have a suggestion–tell Obama and the rest of the oligarchs on capitol hill that they can pass all the laws they want–we just won’t comply with them. Tell them we boycott all taxes. Voting does not matter, only removing the consent to be governed.

“The U.S. Government has abandoned the Rule of Law as defined by the People via the Constitution.”

The numerous crises currently confronting our Republic are not the result of poor political policies. These evils are the direct result of decades of violations of the U.S. Constitution by our servant Government.

Gov’t to Dentists: No, you cannot treat your patients.

Need I even comment?

British dentists have been forced to go on holiday because they’ve fulfilled the annual work quotas allotted to them by the National Health Service. The dentists are denying treatment to patients because the government will not pay them to do the work. More than 7 million British citizens are unable to find an NHS dentist.

Get a Tax Refund for your Health Care Expenses

From the blog post:

Congressman Ron Paul has introduced a bill that would solve all of these problems, immediately. His “Comprehensive Health Care Reform Act” (H.R. 3343) would give you . . .

Private Health Insurers Ripping Off Public

“Even rich Americans often get poor health care under the existing arrangement, says one of the nation’s foremost authorities on the health care delivery system — which fails to deliver to about 50-million people at all.”

I don’t agree with the idea of a single-payer system–but the point is interesting that even rich Americans get poor health care. I blame the problem on collusion between big insurance and government.

I do have to point something out to you. According to Thomas.gov, you voted Yea on the USA PATRIOT Act. I have to take you to task for this, because in passing this bill, you violated your oath to protect and defend the US constitution. You failed to protect our country and instead gutted the bill of rights. Not having read the bill is no excuse, as I rely on you to properly represent me.

Politics: Congressman Mike Thompson responds…

Dear Mr. Barbieri:

Thank you for contacting me regarding impeachment. I appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with me.

I certainly share your anger and frustration with the Bush Administration. My record of criticism against this Administration is extensive. From the devastating war in Iraq to the blatant attack on our civil liberties to its harmful environmental policies, I believe this Administration has taken our country in a dangerous direction.

There is no doubt in my mind that this Administration is the worst in my lifetime. However, while I have supported further study and debate of impeachment, I believe impeachment proceedings are not the best course of action at this time for two reasons:

McCain and Giuliani Say Terrible Things to a Medical Marijuana Patient

“Breathtaking ignorance from two of the top GOP candidates.”

http://stopthedrugwar.org…say_terrible

Both McCain and Giuliani sidestep the issue at hand–if medical marijuana works despite what the FDA says for certain individuals, who is the government to say that those patients cannot use it? And that’s not to mention that both candidates are lying about the evidence–just like the FDA does.

Vote Ron Paul so we can disband the useless and authoritarian FDA and DEA!

Medical Marijuana: Candidate Report Card

Here is a Presidential Candidate report card for their positions on medical marijuana and the DEA:

http://granitestaters.com/candidates/

Notice that Ron Paul gets an A+! Oh and read John McCain showing his neoconned ignorance here:

“Well, first of all, you’ll have to show me a case where people are going in and arresting people who are dead and dying . . . I haven’t heard of such a case, nor has anyone I know of heard of such a case, so it must be a very well-kept secret.”

Nice. Way to go. When are we going to “just say no” to the DEA?!
